If I have bleeding on my retina, may the bleeding clear naturally?

This depends upon the extent of the bleeding. Small areas of hemorrhages may reabsorb into the retina and disappear over time. Typically, reabsorption of small areas of bleeding is seen with good, steady blood sugar control. Larger areas of retinal bleeding generally call for laser treatments.
